A day in North Dallas will visit the Owens Spring Creek Farm in Richardson, the Owens sausage brand name maintains this showcase farm and small museum with a blacksmith shop, farm kitchen, antiques and vintage sausage-making equipment, Belgian horses, Shetlands and small farm animals. A turn-of-the-century 1887 farmhouse is also located here, one of the oldest houses in Richardson. Then a visit is planned at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum in Addison, which exhibits the history from World Wars I & II and Korea. Refurbished aircraft are on display, as well as one of the largest collections of signed print art in the Southwest.
